G-Force is a scientific term for gravitational force and is related to the gravitational pull in motion; the G-Force is momentum in an object that can result in a tremendous impact! The G-Force mentor team at Texas State University is a higher education partner that aims to do just that: Build momentum in students while in high school that will lead them towards achieving success in college.
The G-Force mentor team will provide one-on-one support to all students who visit them at your high school's Go Center (located in the Counselor's Office) and help you navigate the pathways of college admissions. Mentors are trained to provide you with one-on-one assistance with the college admissions process, including but not limited to: College Applications, Financial Aid, Myths about college life, Web access to all universities, Assistance with selecting your career, and Parent/Student Workshops.
